Frazer Flintham

Frazer is a writer and was one of the BFI Network x BAFTA Crew 2019/2020.
In 2018 Frazer’s stage play Astley’s Astounding Adventures headlined The New Vic Theatre’s (Newcastle-Under-Lyme) Circus Past, Present and Future season, part of the Circus 250 celebrations. The play charted the life of Philip Astley, the ‘Father of The Modern Circus’ and was directed by Theresa Heskins.
His stage play The Life Of Stancliffe Riley made the shortlist of the Verity Bargate Award 2017, receiving a Judge’s Commendation.
One of the 10 writers commissioned by the BBC to write for their iPlayer Shorts 2013, his TV pilot The Ladder won C21 Screenwriting Award for best pilot for an International drama series 2015, (eOne Group, C21 and Creative England).
Since reaching the final of The Rod Hall Award 2008 with his first play Mindy, Frazer was awarded a place on The BBC’s Writing for Radio SPARKS Scheme 2010 (Mentor – Jessica Dromgoole) resulting in several commissions from both BBC Radio 3 and 4.
Frazer has several television and film scripts in development with leading production companies.
